On March 14, 2025, Guangdong Power Grid Company and Haihong Electric jointly developed a 110kV energy-saving amorphous alloy three-dimensional coil core oil-immersed power transformer, and successfully passed the whole test. This is the world's first energy-saving amorphous alloy solid coil core power transformer applied to 110kV voltage level, its no-load loss than GB 20052-2024 level 1 energy efficiency limit value decreased by more than 60%, load loss decreased by more than 5%, energy saving and environmental protection benefits are significant. It marks that China has entered a new stage in the field of high-voltage energy-saving transformer technology.

The 110kV energy saving amorphous alloy three-dimensional coil core oil immersed power transformer successfully solves the stability problem of large amorphous alloy core transformers by combining extremely low loss amorphous alloy strip with energy-saving three-dimensional coil core technology, and adopts a new core suspension structure, which reduces the operating noise and significantly improves the short-circuit resistance. This breakthrough marks a perfect solution to the problem that has long hindered the development of amorphous alloy transformers to high voltage and large capacity.

The efficient operation of the 110kV energy saving amorphous alloy three-dimensional coil core oil immersed power transformer can reduce the overall loss of the new power system and improve the utilization efficiency of renewable energy. In addition, the product has strong short-circuit resistance, effectively cope with the impact of solar energy, wind energy, energy storage and other new energy power systems, and improve the stability of system operation. The product has the characteristics of low loss, low temperature rise and high reliability operation, prolonging the service life of the transformer, reducing the operation and maintenance cost of the power system, and providing stable and highly reliable equipment support for the transformation of the new power system.
